East Tennessee is a place where people recognize and thank Veterans on a daily basis. We have heard many comments at the restaurant from Veterans who have said they appreciated the recognition they had received as they visited many areas of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It only makes sense that each year the City of Gatlinburg would recognize the Veterans in the area and all Veterans for their Service and Sacrifice.
As the Gatlinburg Chamber tells us on www.gatlinburg.com:
For more than 20 years, Gatlinburg has celebrated Veterans Day with a tribute to honor the United States Military service members and veterans. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Veterans Day National Committee recognizes the ceremony as an official Regional Site for the Observance of Veterans Day. This year’s ceremony will take place at the Rocky Top Sports World.
The event is free to the public.
The Veterans Day Event will be held November 11th, at 11 am at the Rocky Top Sports World, located at 1870 Sports World Blvd, Gatlinburg. We welcome all Veterans and families to Three Jimmy’s located on East Highway 321 in Gatlinburg near Rocky Top Sports World.
